Talkeetna Bluegrass Festival

After our Denali Highway trip, we planned on heading south to meet up with our friend, Mary, in Anchorage. Along the way we saw a sign announcing the Talkeetna Bluegrass Festival. Although we were warned about the quality of the festival in recent years, we decided to see what it was about anyway. It was a big splurge at $35 a person but we went for it anyway. Boy … were we disappointed.

There was no bluegrass music to be heard. Instead we were met by hundreds of underage drunk teenagers blaring loud music till the wee hours of the morning. We will spar you the remained of the details.
